America has sinned greatly against God in many ways – so have all the Israel nations of the Christian West – and as a messianic Jew, Jonathan Cahn is probably better placed than most people in being able to show how God’s wrath is already being directed against His people in that land.

So, let us all look forward to 2021 as a year of the Lord’s Grace – and pray that the land – the world – will be healed of this plague. Trust in The Lord, for He is our Shepherd indeed.

In this fallen world of ours, we often try to help others, as we are instructed to do in Holy Writ. You could say that there are different ways of giving assistance. The most basic is to do things for other people, the next is to speak to others with words of advice or support, but the greatest way is just to be there.

You know, it makes me very sad that our people have forgotten how we have sustained many centuries of the most appalling abuse by those emanating from Europe. Will the Lord finally rescue us again from these evil despots (and from our unbelief).

The chief misunderstanding is not to realise that the God of the Bible and of the whole biblical narrative is fundamentally linked to the nation of Israel and its history and development. Where and when other nations are mentioned it is only in respect to their association with Israel.

In a strange reversal, the Roman church has used Peter as a falsified witness for their version of truth, when in fact he was never in Rome. The ancient Romans did however call their pagan gods ‘Peters’.

This period of time (April/May 2020), is such that we are unable to congregate with others in groups larger than two or three, unless we have several children. However, for the most part, we are not gathering in His Name, our Lord Jesus Christ. For by and large, we have abandoned Him and in many cases have never known Him. We do not even ask Him for mercy and forgiveness, that we may have this current plague taken from us.

Recently, we witnessed a great economic revival in China, caused mainly by western nations closing down their factories and outsourcing or importing dirt cheap goods from the East. Anything to make a profit, even if it means betraying your own country and its workers.

We often come across the idea that God will allow His People to be destroyed because of their grievous sin, but is this really so? The Lord is most jealous for His Inheritance – Israel – and to allow her complete destruction would be first and foremost a dishonour to Him which He could not and would not allow. For His word is Law and He is the God that changes not.

Here we have a neat encapsulation of our current Brexit conundrum. For the deal that our Prime minister Boris Johnson has concluded with the European Union, is in fact a treaty that still keeps us bound to the iniquitous European monolith. Is indeed a deal that the Lord God of Israel has not sanctioned, and which will be a source of shame if enacted and ratified?
