If we read the sixth verse of Hebrews, chapter eleven, we are advised as follows; “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him”. Now this is an interesting assertion, for it places faith above even love, truth and obedience.
Could we be seeing a repetition of the tensions which surfaced just over 80 years ago, and which brought about the eventual, if temporary, destruction of Europe.
Now if we turn to verses 9 and 10, we read the following: “I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God” and “How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”.
Chaos was in fact, according to Greek mythology, the name for the very first god who ruled over the original shapeless mass. His wife was called Nyx or Nox, from which we derive the word noxious, pertaining to night.
Why did Almighty God create this universe in which we dwell? Did He need to? Wouldn’t it have been much easier to just repose in the glorious celestial sphere surveying undiluted perfection? Did not the Eternal state that He made man in His (Our) image?
