Editorials should be read in the light of the Israel Truth, that is, that the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian and kindred peoples are the Israelites of the Bible, the inheritors of both the blessings and the responsibilities that God bestowed upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the Israel line.
As we enter a new decade our faithful members and supporters can look with hope that the God of Israel will do a new thing to spring forth — “and shall ye not know it?” We are His chosen and the people He formed for himself to show forth His praises (Isaiah 43:19-21).
Remember, Habakkuk was describing a time when darkness covered the earth and gross darkness the people. An apt description of our Israel nations and peoples today. At that time, as it is now, the whole world appeared to lie in the lap of the Evil One, and even the chosen nation [True Israel], so singularly blessed and favoured by the Almighty, had wandered far away from God
First, of course, I want to thank our correspondents who throughout the year submit articles on various subjects. I suppose I should include in this the thoughts of so many past Israel Truth writers, whose articles we have updated for re-publishing.
The Bible teaches that this Golden Age shall be brought in by our Messiah, Jesus the Christ, the coming King and Ruler, Who shall reform the House of Jacob to the end that we shall be used to the uplifting of all nations (Isa. 2:1-5). Let us here stress that word “all.”
It’s been 101 years since the deadliest war in history ended and the noise of battle ceased. With mixed feelings, but with a grim determination that ‘it should never happen again’, the Celto-Saxon peoples faced the then future. For many that future held suffering of body and mind, and for many, too, a sense of deprivation and loss. Yet, surely, it held for all the hope, and perhaps the promise, of lasting peace. It never happened, of course.
Way back in the 1830’s, the French statesman, Alexis de Tocqueville wrote, “Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
