Happy New Year 2020

Lines of Hope
As we enter a new decade our faithful members and supporters can look with hope that the God of Israel will do a new thing to spring forth — “and shall ye not know it?” We are His chosen and the people He formed for himself to show forth His praises (Isaiah 43:19-21). In the United Kingdom we are emerging from the pagan EU in terms of resurrection being brought about by none other than Almighty God Himself.
We need at this moment to remind ourselves of the words of Jesus Christ in His great prophetic vision to the Apostle John concerning the Two Witnesses (in State as well as Church): “After three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them” (Revelation 11:11). The promise is sure and now becoming evident in our eyes for the entire world yet to behold in the days and years to come.

Note to Readers
As we enter a new year and a new decade, we are led to look forward to the future and what is to come. In the Israel nations today, there is strife and conflict all around us and we wonder if things can get any worse. I think back to the times of the biblical judges when every man did what was right in his own eyes. As BI believers we pray for God’s assistance and guidance in leading others to the BI truth that we have been blessed to have revealed to us.
We rest in the knowledge of the BI truth and the future return of God’s kingdom on earth. May God bless each and everyone of you in 2020.

Thoughts
What are our goals as we begin a new year? Gannet Media Corp. chairman Paul Bascobert, owner of USA Today and dozens of other newspapers, stated, “Our mission is to connect, protect and celebrate our communities. Great journalism is the core of that mission.” This is certainly an important part of our mission also as we distribute truthful enlightening biblical literature to connect, protect, and encourage our scattered flock.
In these trying times we may need to remind ourselves of the great need for a journal like TKC. A new study examining media bias, authored by the University of Colorado-Boulder assistant professor Patrick Ferrucci, found that journalists nowadays are “less morally developed than they used to be.” The study’s results reflect a continuing general downward moral trend of society. Even churches are abandoning long-established moral absolutes. Where will it end? “The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty…” (Num. 14:18)
Let us continue to stand in the gap! On behalf of the Canadian B.I. Association, we extend our greetings and wishes for good health and a year of new inroads for the proclamation of the Kingdom Evangel!

WOW! My, how time has flown as we enter into 2020 and leave a tumultuous 2019. As we reflect back to 2019, we have witnessed our Christian faith and values persecuted and tested in our Israelite countries. Yet, remember, this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. The perils of 2019 that have touched each of us is a reminder that it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.
As we carry our faith forward into 2020, knowing that our God is in full control, turn with me to Psalm 106: 47-48 (NIV) “Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say “Amen!”
Praise the Lord.

Our Mission
Here we are at the beginning of another year – January 2020. An important year if the signs are any indication. I read somewhere that a new year is a time to look both backward and forward. Looking backward this past year we see great divisions in our Israel nations and sadly, a further falling away from our beautiful Christian faith. I am in high hopes that 2020 will somehow see a more perfect knowledge of the Word of God and where the Gospels of the Kingdom and Salvation will blend with news of the Israel Truth to lighten the path of our people, wherever they tread. May the Almighty God help us in this most important journey.
May I take this opportunity to wish all our readers a blessed 2020 and that each of us strive to accomplish His will on earth.
