Put Not Your Trust In Man [or A.I.]
Psalm 146:3-6
Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is which keepeth truth forever:
There are so many articles and videos out there right now claiming to disprove the Word of God and our Christian Faith. Now they are trying to claim that AI has proven that Christ was not crucified!
“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” Psalm 118:8
This latest effort is by someone claiming that forty years ago a quest was started that could upend two millennia of belief. Now, armed with AI, he insists ‘the world’s central religious story got it catastrophically wrong’.
He claims ‘the Romans executed a rebel named Judas the Galilean, not Jesus’, who was later stoned to death apparently. After feeding nearly 100 biblical ‘anomalies’ into top AI models, he says ‘the machines have validated his theory’. ‘The machines agree: the Church crucified the wrong man, he declares’.
Notice it is ‘his theory’. And by-the-way the church didn’t crucify Jesus.
Nice try, if you want to believe in a machine made by man and programmed by man, go ahead. I will continue to believe in the INSPIRED WORD OF GOD and not manmade machines!
As Paul writes to Timothy: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
There can be no doubt that Jesus was Crucified, apart from fulfilling Old Testament prophecies, there were many witnesses. Although they only had the Old Testament then, the New Testament shows the fulfilment of prophecies in the Old, as in Isaiah Chapter 53 and so comes under that statement by Paul.
“…they pierced my hands and my feet.” Psalm 22:16
“They part my garments among them and cast lots upon my vesture.” Psalm 22:18.
“…and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced…” Zechariah 12:10.
Luke tells us: “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.” Luke 23:33
More words to Timothy from Paul: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3, 4.
And that is just what this man is doing, whether it be from another man-made fable or from a man-made machine such as AI. There is an all-out attack on our Christian Faith in these end of days and nothing is out of bounds for these people. They not only do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us, but they do not care who they hurt with their lies and deception either.
There were a number of witnesses to Jesus’ crucifixion who knew Him well, His mother, Mary Magdalene, John, other women, Joseph of Arimathea who is understood to be Mary’s uncle. Don’t tell me they did not know what Jesus looked like, even after Him being tortured, some hardly leaving His side right up to the end. They knew the man on the cross was Jesus.
If Christ was not crucified as some say, then there was no resurrection, if no resurrection then we are all still dead in our sins and with no hope of Salvation. Our faith then is in vain as Paul has said: “For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2.
“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” 1 Corinthians 15:17.
Today with all their ‘science’ so called and Artificial Intelligence they think they are so clever compared with long ago. But they are wrong. Jesus foretold this time and warned us that the world would hate us and try to destroy our faith in Him and what He has done for mankind.
“…If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:2, 3.
And this is precisely what they are trying to do, destroy the foundations of our faith.
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.” Hebrews 4:14.
From our Lord Jesus Christ Himself: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.” John 12:32, 33. This is crucifixion, not stoning!
Paul tells us: “Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15.
When the women went to the tomb, an Angel told them: Saying, “The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” Luke 24:7
Final words from our Lord: “And Jesus …said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.” Matthew 24:4. And that includes artificial intelligence.
