Canada Post Strike

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, which shows no signs of resolution, we have made all issues of the TKC Magazine available on our website, including those up to December 2024. Normally, we are two months behind on publishing the magazine to the website because we like our readers to appreciate the print version first. However, due to these special circumstances, we have expedited the process. You can click here to view the 2024 editions.

Please remember to direct all mail and correspondence to our Canadian address.

Our Last Chance

General MacArthur was a great war leader. He was an architect of the allied victory in the Asian theatre of World War 2 and oversaw the re-building of Japan after the war. He  was subsequently selected commander of the allied forces in Korea and had he not been stripped of his post by a president with a different agenda, Korea would likely have been one country now and the danger facing the world by a nuclear North Korea non-existent. He was a very principled man and a strong Christian. And as you will note from the opening quote, he believed that the world was moving very rapidly toward a final conflict and the return of Christ.

The majority of our readers are, of course, in somewhat of an advantage because we have been awakened to our identity and armed with this truth, we are able to better interpret God’s prophetic word for what it is. We make the natural mistakes in interpretation, but armed with the key to the Bible, i.e., the Israel Truth; the pages of His Book unfold in an understandable way. Like General MacArthur, a huge part of the Christian world senses that things are amiss and something must be on the horizon. Too many believe the solution must be man-made and welcome developments like unification of religions into what they have come to believe as necessary for the way ahead. If the truth was known, probably the greater percentage of true Israelites are quite prepared to accept a different Jesus. In fact, even amongst an alarmingly growing number of our theologians, He has taken on a new appearance, one of a prophet as opposed to God Himself. And while lip service is still paid the Second Advent, the emphasis seems more on changing our ways, our beliefs and our God to bring them more in line with our ability to blend with a society taught to compromise at all costs.

Today, we rarely hear a staunch defense of Jesus Christ, or the Scriptures, perhaps that’s why the Bible simply gathers dust in most homes. Today’s leaders of Israel nations never proudly and unreservedly acknowledge Jesus, in fact, what leader would stand and proudly proclaim He is soon to return. Is there a high profile H.G. Wells type individual today who would stand and say, “This world is at the end of its tether. The end of everything we call life is close to hand?”

The sad hard truth is that as long as disaster is held in check, we Israelites will continue the downward slide from God’s foundation. Like the frog in progressively hotter water, society at large scarcely recognizes the gradual loss of freedoms, the financial bondage, the escaping spirituals values and once proud heritage. We have found ourselves on a road to nowhere and are anxious to adapt to make the most of the journey.

It’s terrible to contemplate but only adversity at its greatest level is going to shake us out of this malaise of evil. It seems to take calamity to bring out the best of us and raise up great leaders who acknowledge that it is only God Almighty to whom we owe everything. The events of two World Wars are just items in the history books for most living today but it would be nice if particularly our young people were exposed to words from the past from great leaders of True Israel. Like President Dwight Eisenhower on the D-Day invasion when he said, “If there were nothing else in my life to prove the existence of an Almighty and Merciful God, the events of the next twenty-four hours did it.”

Or King George VI’s remarks on the eve of D-Day, “……Tested as never before in our history, in God’s providence we survived that test; the spirit of the people, resolute, dedicated, burned like a bright flame, lit surely from those Unseen Fires which nothing can quench….”

What about Churchill,“ I have a feeling sometimes that some Guiding Hand has interfered…” or equally thankful remarks by many other men,

Like Sir Hugh Dowding, hero of the Battle of Britain who said, “I say with absolute conviction that I can trace the intervention of God, not only in the battle itself…..”

Events in today’s world are moving very dramatically and very quickly toward new calamities. A financial collapse and a severe world-wide conflict are in the very near future, the Bible tells us this. The contemplation of this in our time is perhaps a prime reason why Christendom has sought a more pleasant ending instead of the fear generated by prophecies as recorded in Ezekiel, Amos, Joel and Revelation, to name just a few. Still, we should not fear because it is in the times of adversity that great leaders in Israel arise, as opposed to the weak leaders in our Israel nations today; also when Israelites themselves become transformed into courageous men and women, cloaked with a confidence in themselves and in their future. We have the Almighty on our side and when Armageddon comes calling, God will remove the blindness from Israel, and we will know precisely how to proceed. We will also have the advantage of the greatest leader of all, the Lord Jesus Christ. As King George VI said of his time, which can easily be related to ours, “Now once more a supreme test has to be faced….. That we may be worthily matched with this new summons of destiny, I desire solemnly to call my people to prayer and dedication….” So, really, the solution for the Israel nations is easy, isn’t it, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14)

Brooks Alden

Brooks came to the message in 1991 and began writing for Thy Kingdom Come in 2001. His subjects are varied, although prophecy is his favourite. He is a former bank executive and businessman and is now a business consultant. He has authored several books and articles on the Israel Truth and is a regular speaker on the subject. He is co-editor of the magazine and has been a Board Member with the Association for a number of years. Brooks believes that more than any other time in the Christian era is it more important to sow the seeds of the Israel Truth and the Gospel of the Kingdom. He thinks that as in the days of Hosea, Israel today is being swallowed up and the future is dimmer and dimmer without the Lord Jesus Christ as our Beacon. As iot was with Hosea, we True Israel must reach that point where we will say, “Come, and let us return unto the Lord ……he will heal us … and he will bind us up.” All the signs suggest there is not much time.
