Bless The Beasts and The Children

The words to this song came to me today while watching the preview to a movie coming out at the beginning of July called Sound of Freedom. It is being put out by Angel Studios, as it was rejected by Fox and Disney. This will be and already is a controversial movie, as it is about child trafficking. As I have not seen the movie, I cannot totally speak about it, but I did see an interview with the actor, Jim Caviezel, who plays CIA agent Tim Ballard. The movie is based on his real-life experience. He formed Operation Underground Railroad in 2013, which was to root out trafficking efforts going on around the world. It was a very moving interview and I am sure this will be a heartbreaking movie to watch. I believe it is one that must be seen to understand the depth of the evil that is going on in our world today. Could it be the thing that finally wakes us up to the horror of our sin and wickedness, the exploitation of our children! The movie states that at least 2 million children are trafficked each year. This is unbelievable. These innocents, through no fault of their own undergo terrible things. One of the comments I believe which is actually from the movie says, “God’s children are no longer for sale”. It has to be stopped. Amen to that!

How have we gotten to this place of such evil that our children and also, I must add, innocent animals and adults around the world can be abused and neglected. Sometimes it feels like no one cares. Our hearts are hardened. As the words to the song above say children and beasts are meant to be kept safe and warm and have shelter. Look what Jesus says about children,“And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 18:2-4)“Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.But Jesus said, Suffer (Allow the) little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.” (Matt. 19:13-15). A preacher speaking recently on this topic of the horrific things happening to the children today said, “Who is closer to God than little children”, they are so innocent. Here is also a warning to those harming these little ones, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that amillstonehanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matt. 18:6)

The time for the Lord’s return appears to be very short and truth will always be revealed. God has many things to say about the evil people that are controlling our nations and for all those committing these horrible acts. Here is what Rom. 1:17-19 says, “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.” The things we are hearing today in our once great Israel lands are very distressing. We are in a spiritual battle, but we know who the winner will be in the end and it is not Satan and his minions, it is the Lord Jesus Christ and His people. We must be ready for the power of Jesus Christ to come and save His people. Isaiah 40:29-31 says, “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:But they that wait upon theLordshall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” The evil people are starting to be exposed and we must not be weary. We must support those that are trying to expose them. God is on our side and will help us and them in this task. They cannot hide their evil deeds forever! Luke 12:1-3 says, “In the meantime, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.” 2Thess. 2:8-10 also says, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved”. 

God will quickly deal with these evil people and give justice to all these little ones that He loves and that have endured terrible things. In the meantime, we must be a light in this very dark world and support all those who need us and who give us the chance to speak of Jesus.

Bless the beasts and the children for they need our care.
