Smoke Without Mirrors
Just recently we have suffered a never-ending onslaught of Ozzymania, after the death of the leader of the rock band Black Sabbath, with TV news channels and so-called mainstream newspapers adulating ad nauseam about this, let’s be honest, depraved human being. We did learn during this episode that he had had a first wife (before Sharon) who had always kept in the background and who was quoted as saying later “who would want to be part of that mad family?) Another well-known personality, Nelson Mandela, was also married (before Winnie – the rubber tyre necklace murderer) to a lady who was a Jehovah’s Witness. Meghan Markle was also initially married to someone a hundred times more sensible than Prince Harry, the ex-drug addict, who had to be hauled off by his father for a quick fix and cure. He himself was also formerly married to a lady worshipped almost as a goddess by a drooling public.
What all this shows is that we as a people are addicted to celebrity status individuals who are to all intents and purposes almost totally worthless. Where is our sense of incisive discrimination which used to inform us of the difference between the sensible and ludicrous? Even Princess Diana, the so-called People’s Princess, directed scorn at the wife of Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, calling her ‘Goody Two Shoes’. The totally immoral and wayward now lord it over all those who seek to follow a moral compass based on Christian teaching. So much do we live in a rotten world that tens of thousands of maggots are attracted annually to our shores. When I was growing up there existed a delight in goodness and a respect for real achievement and aspiration. But the boat rockers took over and we slowly but inexorably sunk into a consuming and never satisfied depravity.
At one time, we were told that in order to finance the ‘permissive society’ we had to curtail spending on such things as defence. How things have changed!
Matthew, chapter 24 warns us that in the end times there will be ‘wars and rumours of wars’. Well, I think we can safely say that the time of rumours has passed, and we are now truly embedded in real warfare, encouraged and promoted by evil people in our once Christian Western countries. Boris Johnson, that hero turned demon, actually torpedoed a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, presumably on behalf of his political managers. Our useless King Charles, (an unfortunate name historically), is in league with the predators of the World Economic Forum. Both men together with the leader of the EU, Ursula von der Leyen, and Emmanuel Macron of France cannot get enough of hugging that odious snake in the grass, Volodymyr Zelensky. These lust for war because they are of the very devil. Meanwhile our people are starved of resources which they badly need, in order to fund these aliens with billions of pounds. There is no-one to turn to but Our Lord Jesus for protection against this evil.
As I write these words in early August, Russia is being attacked by American and British agents who long for the downfall of that country so that they can steal her natural resources, just like Iraq. Yet only 35 years ago Presidents Reagan, Gorbachev and Prime Minister Thatcher laid a sound framework for lasting peace. Russia was given cast iron promises by NATO (supposedly a defence organisation) which have been broken time after time. In the 1850’s Britain was engaged in the Crimean Wars. The enemy was Russia, not Ukraine. Crimea was always part of Russia. Now nuclear war is creeping up on the agenda and the propagandists are brainwashing our people that it will become inevitable. Will they advise us to shelter under wooden kitchen tables as they did last time in World War 2?
Not long ago the eminent historian and author, Paul Johnson had a frightening dream, as reported in the Spectator magazine dated December 7, 2002. He said “It was rather as if the entire earth moved as a unit, but out of its regular axis. The sound of the explosion was so long, so prolonged and so unusual that I knew at once that I was listening to an historic singularity, a catastrophic global event”. He went on to describe in great detail the complete destruction by fire and wind of central London.
This was written before the illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003, where all the talk was of the next area of conflict – Iran. We have to be aware that we are living on the edge of a precipice constructed by evil apostate men. Union with the Divine is our only defence. We have to behave as though this was our last day on Earth, even if it isn’t.
As I write this article, it is exactly 80 years on from the dropping of the first nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, by the U.S. airforce. We must pray that there will not be a repetition. But we must get down on our knees every day now to beseech the Lord for mercy. The action of the so-called Israeli Prime Minister is also placing the whole world in danger. Matthew 24 reads as follows in verses 21-22, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened”.
May the Lord God Almighty give us all wisdom to escape these things.
