The End of The Church Age
The current thinking in the Body of Christ (the Church) is that the Church is the Bride of Christ and will exist forever as a glorified entity in the heavens with the Lord. I do not agree with this belief and I believe the Lord is going to bring an end to the Church age. The Kingdom Age that is coming will belong to Israel, not the Church.
In his first advent Christ contended with the religious leaders of the day. He said to them, “Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also. And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be born, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.” Luke 11: 43-46. He also rebuked the Sadducees (Matthew 22: 29). After he raised Lazarus from the dead, the chief priests and Pharisees decided to put him to death so that his miracles would come to an end. “Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.” John 11: 53. He could not reform the religious leaders of his day. There could be no reformation. That religious order had to be destroyed and a new order, bigger and better, (the Church) had to be set up by the Lord and the apostles.
Moving ahead in time to the present day, we believe the present Church age is the Laodicean Church age, which is the Church age prophesied to be rejected by the Lord and spat out of his mouth. It cannot be reformed. It needs to come to an end and be replaced by something bigger and better. I believe it is to be replaced by a glorified Israel, an Israel converted to Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit. I believe the revival that is coming when the Lord descends from heaven will make any other revival in history look like a Sunday school picnic.
In the midst of the Welsh revival, the man at the centre of it, Evan Roberts, thought the revival would eventually go world-wide. It did not, and after the revival he saw many people who had been touched by God become deceived and follow strange beliefs. He concluded that it is evil spirits that dampen the fire of revival. When Jesus Christ returns, Satan and his demons will be bound for a thousand years. They will not be able to dampen the fire of revival. “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20: 1-3.
One reason the Laodicean Church age cannot be reformed is that Israelite Christians are blind. They do not know who they are and they do not know who Israel is. Israel is the Anglo-Saxon and kindred peoples and they, the Church in Israel, are the priesthood of Israel. It is their job to pray for Israel and to teach Israel the law and the whole Bible, including the books of prophecy. The books of prophecy make up one third of the Bible and cannot be understood without the knowledge of Israel’s identity.
God suggested to Moses that he would destroy Israel and build his Kingdom from Moses’ descendants. Moses correctly rejected that offer. The Laodicean Church has the same question put to them and instead they say God will destroy the nations of U.S.A., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. because they are decadent and oppressive, but God will take them, the Church, unto himself in glorious rapture. They will not get their wish. They will be forced to stay with their nations through the tribulation. Their chief duty is to serve God first, and serve Israel (the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people) second. If they refuse their duty they will be spat out of God’s mouth.
