Readers like Rob MacDormand’s articles because they express a great love of the Lord and are written in such a way as to be easily understood. Perhaps he gained a great insight from his mother who for years was a contributing writer to The Prophetic Expositor, the former magazine of British-Israel-World Federation. He writes a great deal about blessings and curses, how both have affected our Israel nations, and he emphasizes the great need to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom whenever the opportunity arises. He does so in his personal ministry. Rob is a graduate of the University of Alberta, was engaged in the oil industry for many years and now is involved in city planning. He is a third generation believer in the Israel message and has a great interest in what is going to happen spiritually to our brethren as the end of the age draws closer.
The Abrahamic covenant is explained in Genesis chapters 15 and 17. God made promises and did his part to confirm the promises. God promised Abraham and his descendants all of the land the Canaanite tribes possessed, and that Abraham’s descendants would multiply exceedingly.
When I saw the violence on the news in the U.S. cities I thought of the account of the flood in the book of Genesis. Our society is riddled with sin, wickedness, and violence and I believe it will bring destruction on us.
What was accomplished in the two months lock down? Did the governments know what they were doing when they shut down the economy? We have to trust them. They are the experts.
If any of us were involved in those jobs, we would hope that everyone would recognize our efforts. How must our Lord feel when he has taken the burden of all of our sins on himself and died a gruesome death on the Cross for us? Can we clap for the Lord?
Jesus predicted pestilence. “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Luke 21:11. We have to go through this time of distress.
Many people in the western world consider what is happening and ask, “Can human beings fix the problems of the world?” Their answer may surprise you: “Yes, we can fix the problems of poverty, and war, and the storms and fires caused by global warming.
This is a very interesting year for both the U.K. and the U.S.A. Brexit is coming and the presidential elections are coming. There has been a movement in each country to return to greatness. In fact, Donald Trump ran on the promise that he would “make America great again”.
Many people believe each generation must create their own truth to live by and there are no moral absolutes to govern all generations. This is nothing more than a rejection of the Bible. It is not a new philosophy or a new way of dealing with things. It is simply the old rebellion against God that has been with people since the creation of Adam and Eve.
Jesus spoke of the impending judgement of fire. “And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
In the Israel Truth Movement, many people talk about “the good old days”. Some people remember the 30s or 40s or 50s when there was great enthusiasm for the revelation of who the descendants of Jacob are. My grandfather found acceptance in a British Israel group of men that he did not find in the local church. Certainly, the Holy Spirit was with those Bible study groups that were all over the English-speaking world.
