I was born in the fifties and taught that the President was to be respected, and names of any type including “clown” were not to be spoken. When the news media interrupted regular programming or when the President spoke, our family listened intently.

‘Stop and think for a moment about the hands you have, how they have served you well throughout your years. These hands, through wrinkled, shriveled and weak have been the tools I have used all my life to reach out and grab and embrace life.

Here is some food for thought in our ever-changing world. Let’s begin with Sports and America’s obsession with sports in general. I recently read an article by Chuck Baldwin on America’s Bread & Circus Society and will quote some of the thoughts on sports.

Turbulence and unrest, just the way Satan likes it! He loves to see man turn against man and woman against woman. The times of trouble are here, and Satan is doing his best to stir the pot in our world for he knows his time is short.

When I read the Bible, I see that the prophets were not in with the “in crowd”, they stood out. Was Job in with the in crowd? How about David? How about Paul? What about Abraham or Daniel? How about Ruth or Rahab? God does not discriminate whether it be man or woman?

Take a moment and just think where you might be without teachers, those beacons of light, who have guided your pathways in learning and challenged your mind to thoughts that may have never crossed your mind.

If you could put time in a bottle, what would you wish for when you open the bottle? If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?

Abundance is a promise fulfilled that earth will never be destroyed, that death has been defeated and that we have a Savior who gave His life for each of us. He abundantly gave his ALL for each of us and without any reservations.

Manners begin with reverence to God in all things – As we begin praying to God, let us come before him humbly and to give our thanks to him for all that he has done.
