The New Royal Generation
In the midst of the depressing news these days, let us uplift our thoughts linked to the Royal Throne. Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty in folklore are often considered by our teachers as parables of the nation under God, being restored at the final day. Might we not now think about the Cinderella figure of HRH the Duchess of Cambridge? She is not of royal blood and therefore takes the name of ‘Princess William.’ She has come from the symbolic ashes of common activity and from the coal mining in County Durham. She was kissed twice in a very public way on their wedding day (April 29) by her Prince, to wake up the Sleeping Beauty. He had to cut away the briers of the forest over 7 significant years to find her or make sure she was prepared to take on the royal role.
Their first Royal Tour earlier this month was to the Great Dominion of Canada starting on July 1, significantly the 144th (Divine government) Canada Day of this covenant nation and the 50th Jubilee anniversary of the birth of his late mother Princess Diana. They toured in the expansive northern regions where royal names are set upon islands and places in the Great Dominion, defined so literally in Psalm 72: 8: “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth,” not to mention the words of Deuteronomy 33:17
We might also note that the new royal couple went to Los Angeles, the place, of the Angeles, as Canadian royals, a visit paid for by Canada. As far as the future is concerned, we know that our Returning Lord Jesus Christ is to take up the Throne of David up earth. We can only speculate at this point as to how the Great Dominion will feature in the New prophetic Jerusalem that will fully establish the Kingdom of God in righteousness, but may we not have received a very significant harbinger to be revealed in all its profound nature in the day of His Appearing?
Let us therefore lift up our heads and rejoice. The time is coming when “the shout of a king” will go up in our midst (Numbers 23:21).
