Israel Is Not A Place

Many people are talking about Israel since the Israeli-Hamas war began, but we believe something important needs to be pointed out regarding Israel. It is foundational, and it is this. According to Scripture, Israel is not a place, neither is Israel a country.
I can almost see some of you scratching your head as I continue to type!
Our long-time associate and dear friend, Art Legge, and I were talking recently and he pointed out the above passage to me. I had, of course, read this passage before. The very next verse is one of the first verses that people of our way of thinking memorize, which says, “ … a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins.” Genesis 35:11
During the course of our conversation, Mr. Legge pointed out something both simple and basic, yet something that is grossly overlooked — Israel is not a place, Israel is a person! The above passage makes it so clear. He said, “Whenever you read ‘Jacob’ in the Bible, think ‘Israel,’ and whenever you read ‘Israel’ in the Bible, think ‘Jacob.’”
Oh, that people would get this and understand!
Many people today are saying, “We stand with Israel,” but they have no idea what they are saying. If they are indeed standing with Israel, that would mean that they are standing with Jacob’s descendants, because that is who Israel is. But I have yet to meet one of these people who is actually standing with Israel!
To the contrary, they are standing with Esau, and they don’t even know it!
True Israel are the descendants of Jacob. Those people can be seen today in the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Germanic, Scandinavian and kindred peoples of the world. Our people descend from the Scythians. The Scythians descend from the Sakka, or Sacae. According to the inscription at Behistun, the Sakka are also known as the Gimiri. We know this because the Behistun rock is in three languages, and where Sakka appears in one language, Gimiri is its counterpart in another.
Linguists tell us that Gimiri is a slight corruption of Ghomri, or Khumri, which was the name that the Assyrians gave the Israelites! The Welsh are still called the Khumri to this day. They spell it Cymry, but it is pronounced the same as Khumri. Thus, we are, without doubt, the many nations of Israel, the “nation and company of nations” spoken of in Genesis 35:11.
By contrast, the vast majority of Jews today are the descendants of Esau, and are thus Edomites (Genesis 36:1,8). According to The Jewish Encyclopedia (1925 edition, vol. 5, p. 41, col. 2), the Edomites were “subdued by John Hyrcanus (c. 125 B.C.), by whom they were forced to observe Jewish rites and laws (ib. xiii. 9, § 1; xiv. 4, §4). They were then incorporated with the Jewish nation.” In addition to this, the 1980 edition of The Jewish Almanac actually opens with these words: “Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a “Jew” or to call a contemporary Jew an “Israelite” or a “Hebrew.” In his book, What Price Israel? (p. 222-223), Alfred M. Lilienthal, a Jew, wrote, “Here’s a paradox, a paradox, a most ingenious paradox: an anthropological fact, many Christians have much more Hebrew-Israelite blood in their veins than most of their Jewish neighbors.” He was referring to the Caucasian people. He also stated that “The overwhelming majority of Jews are descend from the converts of Khazaria and elsewhere who adopted Judaism . . .” and that they “. . . have little or no trace of Semitic blood.”
There is definitely a case of mistaken identity in the minds of most people, but we hope that this little missive has been of some help to the reader. Identities are important, and we believe it is essential, when someone says that they are standing with Israel, that they understand exactly what they are saying.
So, we must not forger, according to Scripture, true Israel is not a place, neither is Israel a country. True Israel is a person and his descendants — the tribes of Israel — and we, the Caucasian people, are that people.
