Ignoring A Truth
We must decide how important the Israel Truth is and what to do about it. It is universally ignored by our churches. Each of us must decide if he or she is called to serve the Lord in promoting this truth. If God has revealed this truth to us, what does He want us to do with it?
The Israel Truth goes by other names. Whether you call it British Israelism or Anglo Israelism, it makes the claim that the descendants of the lost tribes of Israel are the Anglo Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian, and Germanic peoples, with pockets of Israelites throughout Europe. It also adheres to the Protestant declaration of the supremacy of the Bible for Christian doctrine. It backs up the truth about the identity of the lost tribes with scripture.
When Jesus was questioned by the chief priests and elders about his authority, he pointed them to John the Baptist. “And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.” Matthew 21:24-27. If they had believed John the Baptist they would not have questioned Jesus about his authority, for John said, “And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” John 1:33-34.
I believe there must be a question put to preachers of our day about the Israel Truth doctrine. “Is it of God or of man?” If they say it is of man, they must explain all the scriptures that support it. If they say it is of God, they must explain why they do not share it with anybody. It seems they are afraid of offending people in their congregations or their denominations, and losing their salaries, so they just ignore it. The question must be put to each of us, even though we may not lose our salaries. If we say we believe the Israel Truth doctrine, the obvious question is, “What are we willing to do about it?”
If Israel Truth was revealed by God to men, we should not ignore it. It will not die and fade away. God does not start things and then give up on them. God did not give up on the lost tribes of Israel. Yes, He expelled them from the promised land, but they found their way through the Caucasus mountains into Europe, and God knew they would eventually turn to Jesus Christ by the millions and establish great nations by their Christian beliefs.
There is severe trouble brewing in the Middle East, and I fear that because of rejecting Israel Truth, western nations are going to be sending their young men and young women into combat to defend the tiny country that calls itself Israel. Christians believe that little country is Israel, even though scripture says Israel would be a company of nations. (Genesis 35:11). We have shown in articles in this magazine that the Jews are a mixture of Israelites, Persians, Idumeans, Khazars, and various proselytes. They have one thing in common, a belief in Judaism, which rejects Jesus Christ. I do not believe God will defend that little country, but I believe He will defend the Anglo Saxon and kindred nations. Many Anglo Saxons will go to their churches in the coming conflict, and He will pour out his Spirit on those who call on his name (Jesus). He will answer their prayers for protection. He has done it in the past, and He will do it again.
If you believe Israel Truth was inspired by God, I encourage you to support it. You can give a friend or family member a copy of a magazine from an organization that preaches the message. Books on the subject are also important. Mentioning relevant websites to friends may point them to the truth. Explaining what you believe over a cup of coffee might be your way of spreading the message. Praying for those who spread the message and those who need to hear the message can break down spiritual strongholds. Financial support for Israel Truth organizations is always important.
There are Canadian organizations that spread the message. The Association of the Covenant People puts out this magazine and has many American and world-wide adherents as well. The Canadian British Israel Association puts out a very informative newsletter. Pastor Jory Brooks is connected to that organization. The British Israel World Federation Canada puts out a magazine called “The Kingdom Herald” and has helped our organization put together the Communion Service on our website. I am not aware of all the American organizations involved in spreading Israel Truth, but I would recommend America’s Promise Ministries, Truth In History, and Christian America Ministries. There are also organizations in the U.K. and Australia, such as chapters of the British Israel World Federation, British Israel Bible Truth Fellowship, and the Ensign Trust. An American writer, who has contributed articles to our magazine, has his own podcast on the internet which I recommend. It is called “The Jeff Casillo Program.” Please forgive me if I have left out any organizations you are part of.
Please look for opportunities to spread the word about Israel Truth. Jesus said, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 16:13.
All truth means ALL TRUTH!
