A Fast Moving Climax
The late Jim Read, president of our association, quoted from the 1953 inaugural address of incoming President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who said, “the forces of good and evil are massed and armed and opposed as rarely before in history……[the time had been reached] “when man’s power to achieve good or to inflict evil surpasses the highest hopes and the sharpest fears of all ages.” Then, Eisenhower went on to impart sage advice as he called upon Americans to, among other things, renew their faith in their country and in the watchfulness of a Divine Providence. Of course, quite the opposite happened and as Mr. Read reported, “When David wrote, ‘the borrower is servant to the lender,’ I doubt even he could have foreseen the bondage upon true Israel today. In just a half century, we have gone from incredible wealth to staggering debt, and all sectors of the economy, government, corporations and individuals, have fallen prey. And those who have stripped us of our wealth are changing the very make-up of our nations and leading us away from our loving Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ…..” Mr. Read would be mortified to note that debt has more than doubled since his 2003 comments. In another 2003 article, Mr. Read pointed to the reason why “Evil” is making such headway, “You know, if there is one thing I have learned through my long years of life is that the further Israelites travel the path of self-deception, the more God, His Laws and His Scriptural Truth are pushed into the background. And as the chemical addition of desperation heightens, our brothers and sisters become willing soldiers in the army of the evil one, driven to support whatever cause that leads to total degradation of the Servant People. This is why there is so little study of the Scriptures; for deep down the true Israelite senses an unexplained emotion of guilt; guilt brought about because he or she is cheating on the most loyal and loving of all partners, the Almighty God.”
Many years before, R. Llewlyn Williams, the former president of British Israel World Federation, London, England did his best to sound the alarm when he wrote, “In these days of anxiety and suspense, when discord and strife are rampant as never before, it becomes increasingly apparent that the affairs of this world are being misdirected by an unseen agency of great malignity and power. Wherever we turn, we are confronted by wrangling and contention of every kind. Industrial disputes, bloody revolutions, war, and preparations for war keep all humanity in a fever of apprehension and unrest.
So great is man’s folly that he fails to realize that all this disorder is part of a relentless campaign, the sole object of which is to ensure the degradation, the enslavement, and ultimately the extermination of all God’s great human family. We are indeed witnessing some of the last stages of a conflict for the bodies and souls of men, which has been raging since the dawn of time between Light and Darkness, between Good and Evil, between Life and Death, between Jesus, the Captain of our Salvation, and Satan, the arch-enemy of all mankind.
I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Lincoln
Pastor Chuck Kuhlar, writing for “The Virginia Christian Israelite” in 2005 gave this stern warning and forecast, “Be Warned! Something catastrophic is coming this way.”……Those in governmental, commercial and religious power [Ed – the three Babylons] will not be able to hide the truth forever. Eventually we will all be able to see, in the sky, the curse coming upon the earth. We should not be blind as to what the future holds – the Word of God provides us with the foreknowledge of what is coming.”
The late Pastor John Shenton reported, “However the serious minded reader looks at the situation whether on a world scale or the situation at home, one cannot but have an inner feeling that we are being headed towards not just another crisis BUT THE SUPREME CRISIS OF THE AGES. This is not mere scare-mongering, all the signs are with us. Signs we have deliberately chosen to ignore, although they have been given to us in clear unmistakable language by our Creator in His Guide Map-the Bible, by His Prophets, His Apostles and above all, by His Sovereign Royal Son, Jesus Christ. They are there for all to read and be guided by them, but we have preferred to ignore the signs and go our own way and now we find that all of our own ways lead to DEAD ENDS! And we have probably passed the point of no return.”

Of course, other great men warned of things that were to come. Abraham Lincoln warned, “I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign .. . until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war.”
Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, about 1800, said: “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a money aristocracy that has set the Government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken from the banks and restored to the Government and to the people to whom it belongs. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the corporation that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property, until their children will wake up homeless on the land their fathers conquered.”
Ed – Despite the past several decades being a time of a great moral and dangerous crisis, we sadly maintained neutrality and just let it overcome us. And so, the days have never been more perilous and evil, and most prophesised events have run their course, with those of most severity on the early horizon. On our own we are now helpless but if we will have deliverance we must recognize there is only one way and this is God’s Way. He told us before, “If my people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (II Chron. 7:14). This is not something that only a few of us in prayer can bring about, it is the nations of True Israel that must humble themselves. Hosea, in Chapter 5:15 and 6:1-2, should give us the assurance that all will take place as God’s Plan unfolds and I particularly like verse 2, “After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”
Well, friends, we are in the third day and the pot is now boiling.

Editor’s Note: Sometimes in life we journey along a path so fraught with obstacles that we want to turn back to safer ground. But, time doesn’t let us turn back, we have to keep trudging onward. There is the wonderful light at the end of the tunnel, of course, but in the meantime, there is the seemingly unending darkness as evil extends its tentacles into every aspect of our lives. As we pause in this last month before the Autumn Equinox of 2011 (ironically, 911), we can clearly see how True Israel’s fall from God’s Law has brought judgment to our very doors. Hurricanes, fires, floods, earthquakes, tornados, pestilence, famine, setbacks in war and loss of freedoms are only some of the 2011 disasters serving as punishment for an unrepentant Israel. It is a sad thought to learn of brethren who wake up in the morning full of life’s energy, only to go somewhere else to bed at night totally wiped out by a disaster that has taken their homes, possessions and sometimes families. Yet, there is an even greater disaster to come, an economic earthquake born out of the greed and power hunger of the unscrupulous Esauites and collaborators. It will be a disaster that threatens to affect each and every one of us.
In past magazines, published all over the Israel world, warnings were sounded of the evil from which we now need deliverance. In this editorial, I will highlight a sampling of these warnings with the hope that each of us will make a renewed pledge to sound the alarm bell to our friends, neighbours and those brethren with whom we daily come into contact.
