Tom Jolly

Mr. Jolly was born in the North of England and moved to Victoria, British Columbia in 1912. He was brought up in the Anglican Church, but like many others fell away during the years. It’s interesting to read his own words about his return.

"I began to return to the Bible in or about 1931 for I had a feeling that there was something in that story of the Bible that was somehow connected with the chaotic state of the world, and that this story also pointed to the fact that Britain was the Israel of God.

Yet, I was confused! I was almost agreed with my fellow workers that when a man died, he was finished. Now, I know that is not so. It is just the beginning! I know now, also, that God send His angels, His messengers. (Luke 1: 32).

In 1932 I met a man on the road who pointed out to me the fulfilling of that great prophecy in Isaiah 31:5, "As birds flying, so will the Lord of Hosts defend Jerusalem, defending also He will deliver it, and passing over He will preserve it."

A great beam of LIGHT came into my life, for that prophecy was literally fulfilled when General Allenby drove the Turks out of Jerusalem. The end of the Times of the Gentiles (see Luke 21:24) had come! The Bible became alive with a flood of fulfilled prophecies and it was the time for action! The man whom I met on the road was Mr. Pilling of Victoria, a great exponent of British Israel Truth, a great worker for the Kingdom of God, a man who knows what he is talking about. He taught me much. And an intense study of the Bible and the Great Pyramid of Gizeh brought me humbly to the foot of the Cross.

My one desire, now, in the twilight of my life is to show others that we Anglo Saxons are Israel, that our economic system is all wrong and must be changed before we can have Peace and the Restoration of the Kingdom of God on this earth, under the rule of the King of Israel, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST."
