Charles Batzold
He was one of the most powerful speakers in our organization. And a most energetic organizer! Reverend Batzold was a Congregational Church (later United) minister and in 1924 began to share his time between his church and the Association, conducting evening services on Sunday for the Association. He was a vigorous supporter of the Israel Truth and before long had established branches in a number of small centers throughout British Columbia.
Reverend Batzold was a popular speaker at service clubs and at Israel associations in both Eastern and Western Canada. He joined with Professor Odlum, Reverend Jukes and J.W. Parker to establish a successful Bible school. In time, he became Secretary-General of the Association and was a commanding representative.
