The European Market
In League with Rome?

courtesy The Anglo-Saxon World (slightly abridged)

Mary Tudor was the daughter of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. She was raised a Roman Catholic and succeeded to the throne of England in 1553 after the short reign of Edward VI. Her heart was set upon restoring England to the Church of Rome and she tried to undo all that her father had done in introducing Protestantism. The terror of religious persecution spread throughout the land. At least 300 were put to death in her five-year reign. She earned the name "Bloody Mary".

They were indeed dark days for England.

Equally dark days lie ahead for England in this era, too, if the leaders of the people succeed in returning the country to Rome through control of the financial and political machinery, otherwise known as the European Union Market. The E.U. is a subtle last-ditch effort to re-establish the glory of the old Holy Roman Empire - and France is endeavouring to dominate it as the modern Kingdom of the Franks.

The reign of Protestant Elizabeth I was like the dawn of a new day following the night of Mary Tudor. God allowed His people Israel to be chastened but we must remember that God declared Israel to be His battle axe and weapons of war. (Jer. 51:20). Certainly, Elizabeth, by restoring Protestantism, dealt Rome a crippling blow.

God may again chastize Israel by bringing her under the heel of Roman authority for a time but God's promise to save his people when they call upon Him to do so will always be kept, for it was unconditional except they humbly pray and reform themselves, (2 Chron. 7:14).

God is due, very shortly, to deal with the evil Babylonian systems of worship and finance. He works His wonders in deeply mysterious ways and we cannot foresee the end as can God. Therefore Britain may be scheduled to act once more as the rock upon which the plans of evil men founder. Neither Philip of Spain, Napolean of France, nor Adolf Hitler of Germany could subjugate Britain. But Britain suffered in the process.

History may repeat itself as Papal Rome with Financial Babylon comes finally crashing to the ground. Britain will stand however, scarred only to the extent she allows herself to be by delaying her call upon The Almighty for assistance.
