Oil For Your Lamp

The Psalmist wrote: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105

The Word of GOD, the Holy Bible is the lamp. There are many millions of these lamps in the world today among Christians. It is one thing to have the lamp, and another thing to have oil in your vessel for the lamp. You cannot get light for your path unless you have knowledge, wisdom and understanding in the Holy Word. Wise virgins obtain this by the aid of the Holy Spirit in reading, searching and pondering upon the Word of GOD daily without ceasing. The oil of gladness comes from loving GOD'S Holy Word.

A Christian Israelite should now read Psalm 119:97 to 104 and meditate upon Jesus Christ.

In recent decades we have been bombarded with propaganda that all religions worship the same God, and as all men are brothers, we should all worship together. That is MAN'S opinion.

Let us use our lamp. Jesus Christ, in prayer to the Father, declared: "Thy Word is Truth." "Sanctify them through Thy Truth." John 17:17.

Truth is the great separating force that divides one religion from another. Matthew 10:35.

And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true GOD, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent John 17:3. Jesus Christ said: "I am the Way." John 14:6 "I am the door." John 10: 9. ''No man comes to the Father but by Me. John 14:6.

According to this, the Holy Scriptures indicate a very narrow way. They pin-point a single door. All the other ways, the broad ways of the world, do not lead to the Father. Of all the religions in the world that seek recognition of men, there is not one that can lead to GOD except the Christian religion.

Through four thousand years of history, from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his family, through the Israel people as the kingdoms of Israel and Judah, generation after generation of prophets describe the Messiah and His work. All pin-pointed Jesus Christ as the Redeemer of Israel and the Saviour of mankind.

The New Covenant promised to Israel was made and forever established by Jesus Christ. Jer. 31:28-37 and Matt. 26:28; Isa. 11:1-10; Psalm 8. Gal. 6:16; I Peter 2:1-9 Eph. 1:12; Rev. 21:3-4.

The blood of the Covenant of Jesus Christ reconciles all men to GOD. Every religion of every people must fade away before the Way of Christ. It is the Way of the Meek of the earth. Pride is utterly rejected. Self is totally consumed upon the Altar of LOVE. Self is sacrificed to LOVE.

The Laws of Moses and the Temple worship of Aaron with the blood of bullocks and rams were just allegorical tokens. They were a school master to teach the Way of Christ. They could not redeem anyone nor give life to anyone.

The soul of a man is precious; so precious that no sinful man can redeem his brother. No sinful man can redeem himself. Psalm 49:6-9 and 15.

All who in Faith accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and His precious blood as the atonement (covering hiding or blotting out) of their sins, are given power to become Sons of GOD.

The Holy Scriptures declare: "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh - Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith. Heb. 10:12-23.

As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the Sons of GOD. John 1:12.
