Consider the prayer Christ asks us to pray (not say), "THY will be DONE in earth as it is done in heaven". Now in all honesty does not this mean the sphere in which GOD'S will is to be DONE is in and through us in this earth right here and now? Ought not the SUPREME thing for every Christian to be THE DOING OF GOD'S WILL - in public life, business life, social life, family life and individual life? And does not this mean seeking GOD'S GUIDANCE for all the details of daily living? Does not this mean LISTENING TO GOD ? WE cannot fool God in asking for guidance with the mind already made up what we are going to do.
