Dear Friend,

Each month in this editorial, I will cover significant happenings on the world scene that closely relate to our message or Biblical matters. This month, however, I just want to welcome you to this site that is dedicated to spreading the Gospels of the Kingdom and Salvation to peoples everywhere. We’ve been at this ever since we were formed on August 2nd, 1909. Yet, we are equally committed as “Watchmen in Israel,” to get across the Israel Truth to the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Scandinavian and kindred peoples.

That is, that they are the true descendants of those people to whom the Apostle James wrote in James 1: 1, “James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.”

Yes, if you are one of these nationalities, you are an Israelite! And, if you are reading this, our fervent prayer is that God Almighty lifts your blindness. The Apostle Paul referred to this blindness in Romans 11: 25, the prophet Isaiah cited it in Isaiah 42: 16, 19 and the prophet Hosea in Hosea 2: 17.

You know, we are living in incredible times. All over the world, there is a deep apprehension as nation after nation experiences turmoil. At this writing, it seems that war is imminent and moral and financial conditions are on the verge of chaos. We can’t help but believe that time is running out on those who have yet to have Jesus Christ in their lives? This is why we believe that knowledge of the Israel Truth will light up the pages of the Bible and give everyone, including our brethren spread across the world, a new focus of the reliability of the Word of God. It will give them reason to hunger for fellowship with the Lord and to want to reach out and minister to others. Isn't this what the Apostle Paul counsels in 2 Timothy 2: 2?

Please take the time to review our Statement of Beliefs, to understand the Israel Truth, to review literature that can be a blessing in your journey and articles that will enhance your understanding. Please peruse our wonderful magazine and if you feel it will help in your Christian walk, simply ask us to add your name to our mailing list. About Our President - Jim Read was a longtime banker, retiring in 1985. He became aware of the Israel Truth in the seventies and became a member of the Association. When the Association fell on hard times by the mid-eighties and was in danger of folding, as had many other sister organizations over the years, Mr. Read became President and engineered the financial campaign to keep it going. He remains President today and has presided over a period when the Association’s magazine, “Thy Kingdom Come,” has played an important role in furthering the Israel Truth around the world. He sees this website as being the next natural step in helping spread the Gospel of the Kingdom in these last precarious days before the return of Christ.
