THY KINGDOM COME LORD

Therefore, God is telling us that His Plan is totally open and for those who study prophesy diligently, God will reveal over time each prophetic step in His Grand Plan for Israel. His method seems to be a progressive revelation, that is, He enlightens students according to their commitment. I suppose this is why great scholars like Rand and Campbell gained so much knowledge and insight. Still, it is really important for each and every one of us that have had their eyes open to the Israel truth to know that God wants us to study His Book of Prophecy so we may qualify as teachers in the coming trying times. Isaiah 55: 10-11 confirms that whatever God says will come to pass; He does not change and does not lie. This is why our wonderful Savior had only to speak these simple but enlightening words in Matthew 24: 25, “Behold, I have told you before.” In His own words, He said, “study the prophecies.”

As events happen, we can look to the Word of God and see prophecy working in our lives. Yet, looking forward, of course, is another matter. Since we are not divinely inspired, as were the Old Testament prophets, we may misinterpret. Still, an interpretation that looks rock solid can be even more plausible when a new revelation comes forward. With this in mind, let us take a trip down an interesting prophetic pathway, one that has been greatly crystallized through recent events.

On page 10 in the November’s issue of Thy Kingdom Come, there is a chart concerning the Throne of England, which, as we all know, is the Throne of David that the Lord Jesus Christ will claim upon His return. This chart reflects the 700-year period between July 1296, when King Edward I brought Jacob’s Pillar Stone from Scotland and July 1996 when the decision was made to return the Stone to Scotland. Notwithstanding Prime Minister Major’s part in the return of the Stone, we know it was the Lord God Almighty who was the architect of the move. Indeed, many of us think the return of the Stone is just a part of His overall plan. Still, we can be sure it was returned at the very moment in time God chose for His purpose. I tell you friends, that 1996 is a critical date on God’s timetable and by the time you finish this article, I hope you also will see the great significance.

Certainly, we cannot underplay the importance of the 700 years. Anyone who has read Rand or Panin knows full well how God works through sevens or derivatives of seven. What we are looking at is 70 times 10. Bullinger tells us that seventy is perfect spiritual order and 10 is the perfection of divine order. Only God is capable of this and I believe His choice of the timing could only have been selected so that we might know His intentions. Then too, we cannot underestimate the importance of the Stone actually going to Scotland on November 14th, 1996, the very day of Prince Charles’ 48th birthday, the heir to the throne who wants so much to be the defender of all the faiths, notwithstanding the coronation oath and sacrifices of all his countrymen of the past.

One thing we clearly know for certain, the Stone of Destiny was moved away from London for safety, because judgment is sure to come upon Westminster Abbey and London because of all the false doctrine and evil works that have emanated from those centers in recent years. And as tragic as the event was, Jerry Falwell spoke the truth when he said that the New York tragedy was the beginning of Judgment upon America (or warning of judgment). We are living in the times of the falling away prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 1: 3 and in these very last days, make no mistake about it, God is directing the final act.

It is important to remember that God gave Noah seven days notice of the commencement of punishment He was about to send upon the earth in the way of the flood. And it happened in seven days exactly! So, in studying His word about other declarations of judgment, we can be certain they will happen exactly according to His schedule as well. Employing Ezekiel 4: 6, “I have appointed thee each day for a year” we can add seven years to 1996 and suggest that 2003 may well be the timing for the return of Christ and Judgment.

Let’s examine how He is to return. Zechariah 14:4 tells us, “And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” I believe this will take a massive earthquake to accomplish. It will be Judgment time. As Isaiah recorded in Chapter 61:1, Christ will usher in the day of vengeance of our God.

It is significant to speculate that if Christ is to return in 2003, it may well culminate in an earthquake. Amos’ prophecy was that the judgment in his day would be by way of earthquake. Zechariah described that quake over two centuries later (Chapter 14: 5) and described a scene where people were fleeing. Therefore, it must have been severe. Of course, in the dual fulfillment, the earthquake that occurs when Christ returns will be overwhelming. We should not forget the meaning of Jacob Israel’s words in Genesis 49: 10, “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawmaker between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” Shiloh can refer to either Christ or Judgment, and of course, Christ Second Coming brings judgment. Nevertheless a culmination in an earthquake and judgment seem to be common to both the earlier fulfillment and the Return of Christ.

Now, if there were something to tie in the timing of both incidences, it would give this idea of a dual fulfillment greater credence. If the period July to November 1996 is the beginning of seven years warning, then can we expect the return of Christ between July to November, 2003? Then too, if September 11th, 2001, which is two years before the July/November 2003 date, was a warning of judgment, then the vision of Amos should reflect such a warning. And it does! God is so exact. And amazing! He tucks mathematics throughout the Scriptures in innocuous ways and only at a certain time are they meaningful to us.

Amos 1: 1 begins a prophecy that now makes perfect sense in light of September 11th. “The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. Two years before the earthquake! The double fulfillment fits. It is interesting that God sent Amos to give warning of judgment two years before the earthquake of his time. The Israelites didn’t listen. The judgment took place. He sent terrorists on September 11th, two years before the 2003 period. Did Israelites listen? Not really! Initially there was a flurry of greater church attendance but it quickly deteriorated into a prayer day to a god who is supposeably a god of all religions and conveniently for the one-worlders, Jesus Christ was pushed to the background. Still, judgment will surely take place, particularly considering the fact that the Birthright tribes of America Manasseh and British Ephraim have made so many covenants with non-Christian nations in defiance of God’s Word.
